A native of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, Meredith began her studies on the piano at the age of four. Her love for accompanying began in her local church with the choir and orchestra ministries.
Meredith completed her piano performance degree at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh under the direction of Dmitri Novgrodsky and Beverly Hassel.
She was a member of the University Choir, Le Choeur de Femmes, and the Chamber Choir. While studying at UW-O, Meredith met and married her husband, Ben, and has accompanied his choral groups’ competitions, musicals, and international tours.
Meredith has performed as accompanist for festival choirs under the direction of Rick Bjella, Joe Miller (Westminster Choir College), Pearl Shangkuan, Timothy Stalter, Jo Ann Miller, as well as Grammy winners Jerry Blackstone and Craig Hella-Johnson.
She is currently teaching private piano in the San Antonio area and accompanies schools, churches, and San Antonio’s professional male chorus, Illumen. She has conducted the Hill Country Samaritans Children’s Choir since its inception in 2020.
Meredith enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children, gardening, baking, and fixing up their home in Lakehills, Texas.
