... to be there for each other. One wonderful way that happens in Lakehills is the Community Thanksgiving Dinner. Providing a festive friendly atmosphere complete with decorations, live music, neighbors, and delicious food, Hill Country Samaritans is continuing a tradition started by Tony and Maria Quesada in 2011 of making memories with friends at the Lakehills Community Center on Thanksgiving Day with no cost obligation to the attendees.
This is a traditional Thanksgiving Dinner made from scratch on the LHCC grounds. To be certain, food prices are on the rise. Would you help provide food for the 390+ people who have made this event a part of their holiday celebration? Your donation will make a big impact in this community. Please join us as we prepare the food Tuesday and Wednesday before Thanksgiving, as we serve and enjoy the food together on Thursday, and as we clean up after.
At Hill Country Samaritans, we coordinate the efforts of generous people like you to accomplish bigger things than any of us could do on our own. Every act of kindness, every dollar, and every moment of your time brings us closer to achieving our mission.
